What do I need to do before I place a buy order on my International Shares Account?

Before you place a buy order on your International Shares Account, you will need to ensure that:

  • You have funds available for trade in your International Wallet. This will be shown as Tradable funds. To do so, funds must be transferred from your linked bank account, which you can arrange via the Transfer Funds page
  • You have a valid U.S. Tax Form (W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E) on file, even if you are placing your trade in a non U.S. market.
