Where can I download my current and historical End of Financial Year statements

EOFY statements can be downloaded from the CommSec website by clicking here, or by selecting ‘Portfolio’ then ‘Statements’.

The following statements are generally available from mid-July:

Financial year summary
An overview of your CommSec account for the financial year. This includes summaries of your portfolio valuation, estimated interest and dividends, and fees and charges.
Portfolio valuation
A report of all your CommSec holdings and their values as at 30 June, giving you a snapshot of your position.
Transaction summary
A list of all your executed trades with CommSec throughout the financial year, itemised and grouped by stock code, to help you work out capital gains, capital losses, and transaction costs.
Interest and dividend summary
A list of estimated dividend and interest payments throughout the financial year which may help you work out the income performance of your portfolio.

Where can I download my historical financial year statements?

Your share statements for previous financial years are available on the same page as the current financial year statements. To download these, go to Portfolio > Statements or click here.

What is my Portfolio Valuation Statement?

The Portfolio Valuation Statement is a consolidated report of your holdings and their value as at 30 June for the previous financial year, giving you a snapshot of your End of Financial Year (EOFY) position.


This statement shows the following for each shareholding on your account:

  • Stock name
  • Number of units you hold
  • Market value of each holding; as at 30 June
  • Breakdown of value for each total holding
  • Percentage showing how much each holding contributes to the total current value of your portfolio


This statement is available for Share Trading Accounts and Margin Lending Accounts.

Please note: The calculation of units is based on the total registered units at close of trading on 30 June, including units from any unsettled trades executed before or on 30 June.
