How do I create/add/delete a Watchlist?

To create or add a new watchlist, simply navigate to 'Watchlists' and click 'Add Watchlist'. Click 'Edit' to name your watchlist and then click 'Save'.

To add stocks, type the ASX code in the 'Code' field and click 'Add'. If you are unsure of the ASX code, click the magnifying glass icon and enter the company name to search.

When you click 'Edit it will also give you the option of entering the date you acquired the stocks, units and purchase price. Remember to click 'Save' to view your changes.

Deleting a watchlist

To delete a watchlist, navigate to 'Watchlists' and select the watchlist you want to delete from the drop down menu. Under the title of the watchlist click 'Delete'. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion.

Can I create a separate Watchlist and Custom Portfolio?

All changes implemented to your Watchlist(s); will be replicated in your Custom Portfolio, so to create a separate Custom Portfolio and Watchlist you need to create the list twice and give it a different name.

For further assistance with deleting your watchlists, please call CommSec on 13 15 19 or +61 2 9115 1417 if calling from overseas (Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, Sydney time).
