How do I trade with CommSec?

Once your account is set up, there are a few different ways you are able to place a trade.


Online

To place a trade online, log into your CommSec account and navigate to Trading > Shares: Place Order.

This video walks you through how to place an order on the CommSec website.

  • The second part from 01:37 runs through step-by-step each field and how you can manage your order after it’s placed

On the mobile app

Using your smartphone or tablet, you can place a trade on the go via the CommSec mobile app. For a video demonstration of the app click here, or you can download the app at the App Store or Google Play.


Over the phone

If you don't have access to the internet or a smartphone, you can call CommSec and we can place a trade on your behalf.
